            It wasn’t our first time meeting Muliady and Welly. Some time ago we took pics of their first son, the cute Shawn. Yep, it’s a hilarious time. His cute and naive acts before camera was so attractive. Shawny…. Shawny….

            This time he aint the star. The star hasn’t come yet, but we know it’s there with us. Yes, we’re expecting a baby. Shawn looks waiting excitedly.  It’s nice seeing him ready to be its protector. When we talked with Bro Mul and Sist Welly, Bro Mul’s so sure that it’s a girl. Well, I guess a divine connection between parents and children does exist. Or perhaps they talk and ask the baby if it’s a he or she. Ha..ha…ha… it’s just a glance of thought after hearing your conviction, bro. Ok then, let’s just see….. Hehehehe…

            Sist Welly looks beautiful in her pregnancy this time. It’s great watching her move expressing her excitement for the baby to come. Black clothes she wears show her elegance as a pregnant mother. It’s the beauty of women as God’s creation. She’s struggling to take care of a life in her womb. Thank God for a woman. Thank God for a mom…

            Sist Welly is a modern mom. She doesn’t hesitate at all to express her pride as a pregnant woman. For us the photographers, she’s a beautiful attractive object. Getting closer with this couple lets us see where Shawn gets his charm before the camera. He’s as charming as his mom before the camera. It’s also nice seeing Bro Mul expressing his love as a husband and a father expecting for his child to be born.

            A day with them inspires and encourages us that being parents is a grace, not a responsibility or burden. And it’s a grace, so it must be wonderful.

            We learn a lot from Bro Mul to be a leader in the family and a spiritual leader (date leader) in Jakarta Praise Community Church. He shows us that he’s not only leading and directing, but also doing it faithfully and whole-heartedly. Proficiat for Bro Mul, Sist Welly and Shawn…

When we met Rangga and Ananda and they told us what they wanted for their pre-wed, they asked for a location with modern impression and a one day shot. Our mind flew directly to our hedonistic next-door country. It spoils people who love shopping in malls because it sells all international products

So here we are in Singapore… I kept reminding myself to prepare everything soon because Rangga and Ananda only got a day for this. Singapore, a clean and comfortably thematic city, will make us easy to find modern locations but less Singaporish, hehe… They’re quite unique. Our other clients will always show a characteristic or anything about the country, but they don’t want it.

We really thank God for Yoan. She’s Ananda’s make-up artist that can heal her trauma on cosmetic eyelashes. It began two months ago. Ananda’s eyes kept flowing tears while wearing cosmetic eyelashes for their engagement. So obviously she asked me not to wear ones. But, Yoan proved the opposite. With her great skill to do Ananda’s make-up, Ananda’s eyes didn’t flow any more tears! Ananda’s so glad about her work. Hahaha… Bravo Yoan! You’re such an excellent make-up artist.

During the shots, we usually have some problems directing the male, but it was easy with Rangga. He’s a pilot-to-be, so he’s used to doing straight and upright body pose. It makes us easy to direct him. Well, your hard practice is really worth it, Rangga. I think you can be a model on your days off as a pilot, hehehe…

It’s only a day, but Rangga and Ananda have prepared everything well, especially Ananda. Many costumes she’d prepared really helped us to pick the locations. In a time, they dressed casually. A casual top and knee-length skirt let her look like a fresh office woman after work. In another time, they are elegant. Walking on the bridge, romantic nuance is still seen in their sweet costumes.

Finally the day’s over. What a quality beautiful day with Rangga and Ananda. And for Ananda, hope it’ll be the first day of your friendship with cosmetic eyelashes. Hehehe… Thanks to you both. Good luck on preparing your wedding.

I started that day by seeing the beautiful woman’s, Hanny. She usually serves her patients with tooth problems. Yep, she’s the beautiful dentist. Hehe… I bet all her patients like her coz she’s also friendly and kind.

What is surprising for Hanny and us watching was the bridesmaid. Her best friend gave her a present while she was doing all the preparation. It got even more exciting when we saw a black thing coming out of the box… One… Two… Three… it was a sexy lingerie! Hahaha… The bridesmaid really knew what’s best for the bride. Wkwkwk…

It’s time to go to church. Wow! Stasi Polikarpus Church looked awesome that day. Its interior is amazing. Blue dominates the ceiling. Jerry looks so calm in every minute passing. Seemed like he’s saying: ‘Well, I’m ready to be Hanny’s husband and the father to our future kids. Well-done, bro!

Their happy moment continued by reception around the swimming pool of Four Season Hotel. Actually their outdoor theme is great, and everything done well. Thank’s for your trust, Jerry and Hanny…

We know Ardi because he’s one of our wedding decoration vendors under the name of “Arlia Decoration”. We first met around July 2010 in a wedding exhibition in Jakarta. We still remember that we’d heard from him that he’s getting married. And in November 2011, they made it! They must’ve prepared for 1,5 years long for this moment. Aahhh… Days always seem not enough before the big day, but it’s still coming anyway.

We give Ardi two thumbs up for his great commitment and effort to lose weight. He’s now much thinner than we last met in 2010. Well-done! He shared us the recipe. It’s like this: don’t just eat less, but change your lifestyle. Eat healthy food and work out, like doing fitness or running on a treadmill.

Today Grand Ballroom of Four Season Hotel Jakarta looks really fascinating. Magenta dominated decoration makes the interior feel cooler. They wore international dresses. Liana wore white dress and Ardi wore white suit . It looks even nicer because the bridesmaids wore light purple dresses. It looks contrast, but yet very sweet. Everything ran well today and everyone is happy. It’s the proof of love…

The more children you have, the more blessings you get. Is this old Indonesian saying still true? In fact, more children mean more things to take care of. And the mother should even struggle more especially when the kids are still little.  

But that thought changed on the day we met Anderson and Genevieve. How couldn’t I?! They have such a gorgeous boy, Raphael, and adorable triplets. Yep, it’s three! Ain’t that amazing?

We saw how Anderson helped Genevieve to dress up Raphael and their three little angels. We thought it’d be real complicated, but not for her. Her sincere mothery smile is always seen, even she always has time to smile at Raphael’s chat. It’s so beautiful seeing her with her kids like that.

When we started to take pics, the triplets, Lavenia, Giovania and Carmenia’s  natural moves are incredible. Really inspires us for creative ideas. For us, it’s a rare and challenging opportunity to take pics of 3 babies, hehe… Even our other challenge is that we have to remember their names. Hmm… Wait, don’t you think it’s easy! The thing is that we can’t tell their difference. Fiuh…. They make us think…

One thing more interesting is one of them is easy to be upset. Hahaha… In the middle of our photos, one of them suddenly pout. It’s so funny seeing them this way. It got more fun when we had a good laugh for Raphael’s funny acts. He is so passionate with animals that when he took some pics with a rabbit, he thought it was his model partner. Poor the rabbit…! Wkwkwk… Raphael also posed with our dog, Garland von Williebrordus. He surely enjoyed his photo time with animals he likes. Family is an invaluable treasure. That’s what we learn from being in their family. More children is more happiness. All sweat and trouble is truly nothing to the wonderful children. Yep, everything based on true love will bring no complaint coz our family will always be there to help us.

Thanks to Anderson and Genevieve for giving us a chance to be with your happy family. We hope to have a family like yours. Just pray for us…

Night’s coming. Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, has friendly welcomed the couple and us. Here they’re having their party. Surprises they made still went on! They really had brilliantly unique ideas. Finally, today is happily ended. Everyone is happy and excited…   Thanks to Febio and Novi for trusting us to be your photographers. We had a great time…

     This old mini bar concept really suit them. Their aura is united with the Chinese-decorated room. Even more when Evie posing as a singing Chinese lady. Her cheerfulness can balance Aleng’s seriousness in every pose. Now it’s time to change location. Beside this theme, we also used romantic outdoor nuance so they can have various photos with different concepts. They’re wearing international dress. Her long white dress and his suit show western romance.

     One thing interesting is that we saw Aleng’s smiles more blooming. It really lifted our hopes up. Or perhaps he started to enjoy posing in front of the camera. We don’t really know, hahaha… The power of love perfects everything. Just like their power of love perfected this pre-wed session. We all glad for everything we’ve been through together. Thanks to Aleng and Evie, we hope you can smile some more in your wedding. Your new love life  here will surely need Aleng’s smiles to give more colorful joy.

That day we’re not just taking photos, but we got such fun experience.  Just like other couples, they prepared best-men and bridesmaids. For them, they picked their closest friends. And funnily, these close people of their lives teased them with some crazy ideas. It’s really a masterpiece creative idea they’ll never forget. When Lius got to Melissa’s place to pick her up, the four bridesmaids didn’t just let him pass. Some communication behind the door by mobile phone gave him pieces of instructions for every step he had to take to meet her.

The first instruction was hilarious. He had to dance “Wonder Girl – Nobody but You” The best-men were a good team too. They’re fun. They’re so excited to give him ideas for this dance. Then these guys had to think hard to help him make a love poem. Like a poet, Lius expressed his love by his short poem.

The last test was even more fun. Lius had to find Melissa’ shoes! It’s really funny. He was running out of ideas when he saw the girls laughing at him. And guess what? He finally bribed them by angpao to tell him where the shoes are. He passed his love test!

Everyone was happy. Everyone was excited. Everything ran well as planned. It’s really joyful to be in this fun wedding party. One thing we learned is that best friends can make our happy moments more meaningful and colorful…

This is the peak of Rio-Sisy’s happiness. Today they’re telling the world that their love comes from two people committed to struggle in their spirit of love. We’ve been together with them since their pre-wed and we’ve gone to Paris to frame their love.

The most unique thing in their wedding party is that we got spoiled by such colorful decoration since our first step in their wedding hall. It ain’t feel like Indonesia at all. Suddenly we could feel spring. Stepping a bit, we felt autumn. Turning around, we could touch the warmth of summer. Splendid! Really great and wonderful for us. We love it so much that we didn’t wanna go home.

It was so much fun being there. Anything captured by our camera looked amazingly beautiful and impressive. As photographers, we couldn’t love it more. Rio and Sisy are such lovely warm and friendly couple. They shared their happiness with all the guests. It’s really nice that every one there celebrating their love too. Wow… Awesome! Well, Rio and Sisy, your party was nothing but so great! We thank you for picking us to be in there and even witnessing your love. Yep, it’s the power of love. Every season may pass by and not all of them are lovely ones, but love shall always endure. Congrats to you both…
