This March we went for the pre-wedding shoot of Christian and Juni. We were so excited as we were going for traveling again! It would be another great photo shoot session with special couple Christian and Juni. We had met them several times so we were like already friends. Juni is friendly, she makes friends well and fast. This time we would be flying to Malaysia, our neighbor country.

On the first day of photo shoot, it was very hot and sunny. Salute to the couple they were still lifted to do the photo shoot. It was the power of love. Juni was ready with her own-chosen wardrobe and Christian could never be more ready. The couple was calm and very cooperative during the photo taking. We could see the love and the compatibility of them two. It makes me touched and glad to see how the two different characteristics of each spouse blend perfectly. Christian is a calm guy, he doesn’t talk a lot, a kind of introvert person. On the other hand, Juni is more to an extrovert who talks well to others. They complete each other.

Day 1 finished, so it came to day 2. Day 2 was not as hot as the first, a little rain occurred in the middle of the day but we still managed to continue the photo taking. The overall journey to Malaysia is unforgettable. We rented a car for the team and couple, passing the beautiful city and island scenery of the country. The view of buildings changed to grass and thick bushes view eventually, with small chit chat during the trip. I couldn’t forget that during our time with them, one of our favorite talks is food! It was also a culinary travel I can say. From the moment we landed on Kuala Lumpur International Airport we had already looked for the famous Nasi Khandar (Malaysian type of Indonesian Nasi Padang). The night after we also went to the night market where we could find various street food and handicraft. Not forgetting as well about the beautiful spot beside the river bank, there are a lot of traditional classic cafes and the river itself! If you sat there, you could feel as if you were in Portuguese or something. The atmosphere made it so.

Rayner seems so pro in his photo taking. Though he is not yet even one year old, he can pose well in front of the camera and give us our favorite baby shoots. Rayner is really a cheerful baby, he likes to smile, laugh, and giggle a lot. Moreover, being a food lover, he is easily attracted with anything that’s sweet like biscuit and cookies. So as you can see in the photos, it is obvious that sweet treats do well for him. Rayner can know which is good food which is not, just like his dad can. Rayner has good eye glance when he is naturally looking at the food. Besides, he really has cute beautiful eyes when he smiles. He is also shot with golden necklace, chalk, and the blackboard. The golden necklace symbolizes prosperity that the parents hope for him always Other reason for picking golden necklace? It’s because Eric’s doing gold business. On the other hand, we wish Rayner to be a good student and a person who is willing to learn in the future, that’s why we pick chalk and blackboard. And oh, if you notice one of his photos sitting on the blanket, he is actually pinching his own breast it is really really cute.

Evening breaks and the photo taking is done. Despite going our own way home, other best friends of ours come up and we go on with our plan: barbeque session. So today we have two things done in the same time: baby photo taking and reunion! Meanwhile, chubby Rayner sleeps tight in the bed. It really is refreshing to meet old friends and do something special with them. Moreover, we are actually amazed with how fast Yenyen can slim down after her labour. We hope we can meet them more and more often. And apparently, we’d like to meet Rayner again

            Their engagement was great. Just by seeing their photos, I can feel the same happiness the guests felt. The double-faced Hudson entertained them. His singing and funny acts made everyone laugh. And the guests came more excitedly because they gave a motorbike as the door prize. Wow, awesome!  Unexpectedly, while our team was taking pics of them on the roof, they all had a blessing in disguise. Hahahaha…. While doing the video-shoot, the door was locked from the outside. Hahaha…. but, luckily, there they could get unique angles like the sunset, rooftop and water puddle.  There’re always beautiful things when we’re with our loved ones. Everything becomes sweeter to remember. As for Welly and Melinda, congratulations! Let your love shine you brighter because you used to be two, but now you’re one…

The moment they celebrated their unification in love, beloved friends, family, and relatives came from the U.S.A., Vietnam, and different parts of Indonesia to Jakarta to witness the precious moment. It was a simple yet elegant wedding reception at Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place, Jakarta. The evening was perfectly filled with happiness. The ballroom was decorated in Paris Garden theme, dominated with light colors such as light green and white.

We chose the city view of high buildings for their photo background. A bright warm day helpsthe view of tall buildings be romantic nuance for their pics. Purple pulls out Vonny’s inner beauty, seen by her more beautiful and elegant look for wearing long purple dress in the sunny or dim-lighted afternoon.  Meanwhile, in Jakarta we chose some oldies-nuanced places. Here, again Vonny seems so good at picking up her dresses. Cream and brown colors her dress and accessories. And it’s just perfect! She’s more and more elegant in her pics. During this photo session, they weren’t so tensed,espAldy with his calm and smiling face looks confident in his each pose.  I guess you should try to be a model bro, hahhaha… We didn’t feel like ending that day. Can’t wait to see you two on your wedding day… .

And today we mightn’t be here if not for our loyal and sincere clients. Thanks to you guys… Aldy is familiar for us because he is Felix’s best mate whose face is in some pics of Felix and Catherine’s wedding photos. But today he is the star. 

            Their preparation for this pre-wed took some time because they two work in Singapore, so they spend most of their time there. And we had the homework to make a continual theme by picking up the right beautiful places, hehehe…..Many of our clients have chosen Singapore to be their photo location, but every time we step on this country, we’re always amazed by its nurtured beauty which gets it more and more organized and convenient. The most beautiful way to start the day is when we are happy for others’ happiness. It’s the day Indra and Jelly had been expecting. Two people have learned to walk on the way of love together. And it’s time for them to be united in a great commitment.The beginning was unique. It’s rare for couples in Jakarta to do it.  They invited a matchmaker in their wedding. Indra was picking up Jelly with a matchmaker. This matchmaker will help the two of them meet. This unique thing is usually done not in Java island, like Medan and Pontianak. They did it because Jelly is a Medanese wanting to keep her tradition. I think Indonesia needs young people like her who keep their tradition.

Mulia Hotel is their love memorial because it’s where their love is blessed and united in a holy commitment.  It’s not in a church, but it felt the same sacred. Indra and Jelly always had to stand all the time. Salute for you two! Hope what you did today will always be your strength together. Yep, because together you can always do everything. Hahaha… I sound like an ad on TV….

These couples are forever young because they’re always relaxed and calm. They keep their smiling face. We really learn from you two to live life. People say that a joyful heart is like medicine and today by seeing you two I can say that being grateful in everything is the beginning of victory. Good character and life style. Yes, I love it!

Another unique thing is that while we were entering the building, their backdrop is exactly the same as the ornament on their wedding invitation card. Wow! They’re really detailed and they put their effort to continue their story. Even we can see the white and light blue color in the building to match Jelly’s and her bridesmaids’ dresses. As the queen of the day, she wears white dress and her bridesmaids wear blue. What a romantic concept!

This romantic nuance is felt in the building too. Their wedding theme is winter garden, so every corner of the room is dominated by white to present a gorgeous flowerbed.

Well, yes… love is beautiful. And this beauty of love can appear only when two people become one. Congratulations Indra and Jelly… God bless you!

It’s a real hectic day. For us, we got to be extra careful because Errie and Yuli’s wedding rundown was so tight. Since the first day we met Yuli, we know she’s someone so careful and detail in making her plans. She’s a perfectionist, so it’s natural that a mistake can make her inconvenient. 

            For this wedding, we can see how she’d prepared everything in detail. We could see how a little mistake could make her worry. Hohohoho… Come on Yuli. Take a breath. You’ll look tensed in pics. Hehe… They got two themes for this wedding party. The first one is international theme which Yuli wears a long white dress and Errie wears a grayish tux that will shine from a distant when it’s next to her dress. The second is they will wear Torajan traditional clothes. Here we can see how perfectionist she is where she invited some traditional dancers from Kalimantan to make it really Torajan. Hahaha… At first we’re surprised, but two thumbs up for you, Yuli. Really miss perfect! J

            Thanks to JW Marriot Hotel, we could use the sides of its building for their poses. Luxurious room design gives elegance to their pics. Ornamental statues in every building helped us to be more creative in editing their pics. All this beauty will appear amazing in black and white.  We’re so lucky being there.

            The later the more excited all guests felt, even more when the theme was changed into Torajan party. After Torajan party, we enjoyed cool country music too. I felt like dancing here… Hahahaha…

            Finally time was up. Every art show was presented and the guest left one by one. What a day! It’s time for us to go home and make the best art pics for  Errie and Yuli.
